- Level of detail: facade articulation, interiors, landscaping, vehicles and figures all add production time.
- Materials: acrylic, MDF, resin, metal and finishing choices change both cost and appearance.
- Lighting and interactivity: LED lighting, motion, touch and IoT features need extra engineering.
- Deadline: rush and overnight builds use more parallel workshop capacity.
- Delivery and installation: crating, transport and on-site assembly, especially outside the city of manufacture.
How to get an accurate quote
Send the drawings (CAD, Revit/BIM or SketchUp, or sketches if the design is not final), the scale or intended viewing distance, the venue and the date you need the model. The more specific the brief, the tighter the quote.
How to control cost without losing impact
- Choose the scale for the viewing distance rather than the largest table available.
- Spend detail where the audience looks: the project, its entrance and its landscape, not the surroundings.
- Decide lighting and interactivity early so they are built in, not retrofitted.
